Larry J Berman
Larry retired from the military, having split his 27 years of service between the Army and the Coast Guard. He served 13 years as an decorated Army medic. After a 10-year break in service, he returned to the military, motivated by the September 11, 2001, attacks on the Twin Towers and the Pentagon. He reentered the service in the U.S. Coast Guard as a medical corpsman and remained there for 14 years until his retirement on October 9, 2015, again receiving many awards for Meritorious Service to his country.
Born in Texas, Larry was raised in a loving Jewish household. At the age of 17, he first heard the Lord’s voice while attending services at Temple Shalom in Newport, Rhode Island. Larry soon heard God’s voice again while at Second Beach in Newport. It was there that God gave him a clear understanding of what it meant to be drawn to Him.

Since his salvation and rebirth in Germany on April 22, 1976, Larry has never departed from faithfully following God. His complete story is found in Chapter 2 of his upcoming book, Prayer: Why Is It So Difficult and How to Overcome It!
Larry has two other projects he is currently working on: Here! and THERE!, a story of heaven and hell; Adam and Eve…Before!, a tale of Adam and Eve before their banishment from the Garden of Eden.
Larry Berman is the father of three, and has been happily married to his wonderful wife, Alice, since January 2022. He is a credentialed member of the Great Life Church Ministerial Fellowship in Spring Hill, Florida.
